Services available in the online/mobile banking

The DBS has one of the largest numbers of online banking clients in Singapore with more than two million iBanking users. A further 850,000 users have registered as mBanking customers. In the course of the last two years, the bank has rolled out several products to enhance iBanking platform.

These are:

  • DBS PayLah, a mobile wallet for peer to peer payments
  • SMS banking allows to perform simple banking transactions through sending an SMS to 77767
  • DBS FasTrack mobile app for seamless payments and ordering solutions to merchants.

How to apply for online & mobile banking

DBS customers can register for the mBanking through sending a text message. The text “RegisterNRIC/Passport numberLast” four digits of preferred account number should be sent to 77767. Then, bank will send a SMS notification to the customer’s mobile phone with a one-time password.

To apply to iBanking, the user will have to log into the bank’s website. Then they can utilize the services online or in DBS Digibank mobile app.

First of all, the customer is required to register their mobile phone number at the bank’s branch.

DBS Mobile app for Android & iPhone

The bank has launched the Digibank mobile app that has been designed to make banking easier, simpler, faster and smarter for its customers.

Through the Digibank app, customers are able to access their accounts balance through a simple swipe on their Android or iPhone mobile devices or through their Apple Watch.

This action, referred to as the “peek Balance,” does not need any pre-login and clients have the prerogative to select a ‘peek’ at any of their POSB/DBS deposit or credit accounts to query their accounts.
